Guests at the Mohnenfluh Hotel have more of an advantage of the perfect start to a thrilling day on the bike than other guests in the region:
The Burgwald Bike Trail passes right past the door of the Mohnenfluh Hotel. The first official Freeride and Endurance trail in Voralberg offers everyone from beginners to professionals a flowing biking experience.
Starting at the Petersboden lift top station, the trail weaves its way down into the valley with almost 500 meters of descent and a distance of 4 kilometres. Your journey runs through gorgeous landscapes, idyllic woods and you have the choice of beginner, steep, or technical sections. You can get a tentative flavour of the Freeride and Endurance mountain biking adventure on the “Easy Line” with its long drawn-out bends.
Anyone wishing to go somewhat faster, can simply turn off the Easy Line into more challenging sections: Banked turns, drops, North Shores, jumps and also several technical passages challenge the bike and the biker alike.
The beautiful view and the subsequent flowing descent into the valley are worth every drop of sweat on the ascent. Anyone who follows the Burgwald bike trail down into the valley will end up at the bottom station of the Lech-Oberlech cableway. This is the starting point for a wide range of of mountain biking adventures in the imposing mountain world of the Arlberg – regardless of whether you are a hobby biker, someone with sporting ambitions or a freeride / endurance biker.
And how practical: Our Mohnenfluh Hotel in Oberlech is smack bang in the middle of the well-marked mountain bike trail network. Visitors with sporting ambitions who want to explore the area by mountain bike merely need to let us know their intentions: Because free mountain bike hire and fee-based E-bike hire is available at the Mohnenfluh Hotel (please reserve upon room reservation).
