sport.park.lech - Multi-function sport and leisure centre in Lech
From the coming winter season of 2009/2010 onwards, the new multi-function sports and leisure centre will be available for local people, guests and staff.
The municipality of Lech is currently building the new sport.park.lech on the site of the former tennis courts.
Here you can enjoy almost boundless opportunities to take part in sporting activities.
There is a large gym with cardio and strength training equipment; the aerobic/dance studio and the indoor cycling studio are the highlights of the new sport.park.lech.
Also on offer are tennis, a multi-function games court (football, badminton, handball, volleyball, basketball…), climbing and bouldering and the new "leisure room" with table tennis, table football, billiards, DVD cinema, and video games.
The balls are rolling, the pins falling on 4 very modern bowling alleys. A special highlight is moonlight bowling with special light effects in the cool Sports Bar atmosphere.
The extravagant, sharp-edged architectural style catches the eye and indicates the flagship status of the new sport.park.lech. Large glass facades, materials such as Vorarlberg silver fir combined with glass, concrete and steel give the building a new modern look.
If you want to refresh yourself in a stylish lounge atmosphere and watch the activities in the hall, you'll be delighted with the new Sports Bar. The multi-function hall has all the requirements for large-scale events.
On the top floor you'll find new spa facilities with the panoramic Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a bio or ladies' sauna. Massages and a generous relaxation area with a view of Lech's natural surroundings complete the services on offer.

Zürs celebrates skiing. The first White Ring race, the longest ski race in the world, was held in the 2005/2006 season on the 50th anniversary of this ski run that is unique in the Alpine region.
This year, the 4th White Ring race was again successfully completed on the 17th January 2009 with the highest number of entrants. The 5th White Ring race is planned for the 16th January 2010. More information on the "White Ring" at www.derweissering.at
